Wow! What can I say? I was hesitant about having an abdominal lipoplasty- the cost, the recovery (3 children to look after and a husband, haha), and just how good the results could be. But 4 months post op and I feel incredible, the happiest with my body I have ever been. Just as a bit of background- following 3 pregnancies I was left with a large overhang above and below my belly button. I exercised regularly and no matter what I did, that overhang actually became more noticeable when I lost weight. After visiting Mr Misra he confirmed that I also had diastasis recti (5cm gap) and this was the reason behind the doming effect which worsened after preforming certain exercises (I would often feel as though I looked 4 months pregnant). My recovery went as well as it could have gone and 6 weeks after surgery I was back in the gym! Mr Misra’s attention to detail was phenomenal, I believe he is a true artist! He even made my incision high so that I could wear high waisted bikinis on holiday (this year was the first time in 15 years I hadn’t worn a swimsuit and it felt amazing). Mr Misra is an exceptionally warm, caring and honest person, always making me feel at ease and listening to my concerns and wishes. As for Jane (his lovely assistant/nurse) she kept close tabs on me from my first initial enquiry, messaging and calling me daily after surgery for around a month. Honestly, I can’t imagine people receive care like Mr Misa and Jane provided anywhere else. Rather than a surgeon and nurse, they felt like friends that I would look forward to seeing and hearing from and who I feel truly cared for my well-being. If you are even thinking about it, set up an appointment I promise you won’t be disappointed. Danielle xx

I was very happy to have been treated by Mr Misra. He was extremely reassuring and kind throughout my treatment, and I felt able to ask any questions. He was able to fit me in to his busy schedule at short notice, which was greatly appreciated. The treatment itself went really well and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. From start to finish Mr Mirsa was excellent. He made me feel so reassured and explained everything in such detail prior to my procedure. He was so friendly and lovely to talk to he made me feel so comfortable and I was always given options for me to decide on. Mr Misra is an excellent surgeon, with a wonderful “bedside manner”. I felt in safe hands throughout the whole process. Mr Misra explained the surgery, including all outcomes, with prompt follow up letters. All appointments were on time, and informative. The actual surgery was smooth, painless, and I have had no hair loss around the effected area. I would 100% recommend Mr Misra to anyone thinking of having similar surgery.
